Turmeric root is the QUEEN of plants in our opinion. The primary active compound found within the beautiful root is called "Curcumin" which is responsible for fighting off inflammation. To make this compound easier for the body to absorb (aka increase the bioavailability) we mix it with a healthy amount of black pepper.
